Leslie Bakke is an accomplished Creative Director and Strategist with years of industry expertise in conceptualizing and leading high-impact content, campaigns, and immersive experiences for iconic global media and luxury brands. Throughout her career, she has developed award-winning initiatives that blend creativity with strategic innovation, shaping brand narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across multiple platforms.

In her most recent role as Head of Creative for Condé Nast’s Experiential division, Bakke was instrumental in developing groundbreaking editorial brand environments and experiences that captivated audiences and set new benchmarks for engagement. She spearheaded the creative vision for flagship events such as the Teen VOGUE Summit, The New Yorker Festival, and Wired, while also leading the creation of custom activations for Condé Nast’s B2B initiatives including Cannes and Advertising Week NYC. Under her leadership, these activations not only enhanced the brand’s storytelling but also drove measurable business results for Condé Nast’s partners.

Prior to her role at Condé Nast, Bakke served as Executive Creative Director at Vanity Fair, where she played a pivotal role in forging key partnerships with organizations like MOCA, LACMA, and Fox Searchlight, as well as creating influential native content and digital programs with top brands such as AMC, Showtime, and the Toronto Film Festival. Her creative team designed memorable experiences for Vanity Fair’s major events, including Art Basel Miami, the Oscar-week VF Campaign Hollywood, and Campaign New York, showcasing the brand’s cultural relevance and innovative storytelling.

At VOGUE Studio, Bakke led the creative charge behind compelling advertising campaigns and experiential activations that included the iconic VOGUE 120th Anniversary celebration, which resulted in the brand’s largest September issue to date. This milestone campaign exemplified her ability to drive creative excellence and create experiences that engage audiences at scale.

Bakke was also a key figure in the launch of Aura Science, an exclusive beauty and skincare brand by Shiseido, and later returned to Condé Nast as Executive Creative Director at CNX, the in-house creative content studio. There, she led her team to win a Bronze Lion at Cannes for the “The Power of Sport” campaign—an award-winning multimedia initiative for Shell that
positioned the company as a leader in the future of energy.
